The package holidays have been, the kids are back in school, and the water here’s had all summer to get nice and hot – so what are you waiting for? Hot Off the Press
With news that the long-awaited W Hotel in London is now delayed until next February, we’re having to look to alternative openings to keep us occupied. The Savoy is finally re-launching on October 10th, and there are rumblings of the Ivy branching out into accommodation for stuffed diners in need of a lie-down. But perhaps most interestingly, meaty men St John’s of Smithfield are expanding their eateries to Leicester Square this October with a bar, dining room and 15 bedroom hotel-concept. And with food being promised right up until 2am, we reckon there’ll be no shortage of takers; though how they’ll ‘take’ the peekaboo bathrooms remains to be seen.
