The Lowdown
So, something to know, Pfeffer Sal are extremely independent, which is something we always value, but here, it means they have no brand affiliations, allowing them to buy only brands they truly love. They also claim to be the only London-based clinic that doesn’t operate on commission, so you won’t be upsold or pushed into something that’s not right. Their philosophy is that ‘your skincare regime should be as clean as your diet’ and they use additive-free, hand-blended serums (amongst other things) to give your skin the moisture it needs – and to combat London life.

The Environment
In a barnlike building located in a mews close to Warren Street tube, this tranquil space perfectly matches their ethos – welcoming but very au courant. Medical forms are completed on iPads, and music in treatment rooms is relaxing but upbeat, not the usual elevator beats. Therapists wear lab coats; they definitely mean business.

The Treatments
We went in for a Glow and Go facial (we paid, needed an uplift) and not only did we glow, but we glowed for days after. We were advised on how to work on problem areas, and given advice on what the next treatment should be, should we come back. Everything felt top tech.

Availability on Appointments
They can usually find something in the not so distant future as they are open late (until 9:30pm Mon-Friday and 8pm Sat and Sun), which is a refreshing change from some of the more well-known clinics.

Anything Else?
Follow them on Instagram for great tips. And give yourself enough time to dine at Honey & Co. afterwards – it’s just up the road.

The Price
The Glow and Go was £125 for 60 mins, and a skin MOT starts at £50.
