Traditional tapas in Soho

For a taste of Spain in Soho, Barrafina is a bona fide outlet of Spanish charm (it was modelled on the famous Cal Pep in Barcelona). Pull up a stool at the bar and order a selection of traditional tapas, such as pimientos de padrón, tortilla, salt cod fritters and morcilla and wash it down with wine from a highly edited list of lesser-known Spanish producers. It’s been busy since it opened five years ago so expect a queue (no bookings here), but trust us: it’s worth the wait.

Top Tip:

When the sun shines, ask for one of the tables outside – perfect people watching.
