What is your happiest LFW moment?
The sheer delight when it’s over and you’re getting drunk with the team while surrounded by a pile of boxes in the office.
And the moment you'd prefer to forget?
That horrible feeling of getting up at 5am every morning.
What's the biggest challenge of your job?
The only way to be a show producer is to remain completely calm. It takes nerves of steel and you must never shout. If you want someone to do something, the best way is to take that person by the hand and guide them where you want them!
What would surprise people about your role at LFW?
I am one of the integral organisers of the event and yet I also have my own label (Aman Copland) with a friend that is showing on a static stand at On|Off as well. I honestly do know what the designers are going through and I had to finish my collection weeks ago.
What are you looking forward to seeing most at On|Off this season?
My two favourite shows to produce are Gardem and Aimee McWilliams, they are young, fresh and manic backstage. |
