Where do you like to brunch in London?
I’m biased, but Le Caprice. We launched Belvedere Bloody Mary in the UK last year. Zac Posen designed a special menu and hosted the launch party for the London fashion set. I recently went down to Greenwich to see the restored Cutty Sark and had an excellent brunch at Rivington Grill.

Where’s your favourite international brunch spot?
Balthazar in New York – it’s so cool.

DIY or eat out?
Out – I’m a restaurant man, through and through.

Who do you like to brunch with?
My wife.

What’s your favourite brunch menu item?
Eggs Benedict. It’s such a classic dish but hard to get just right.

Sweet or savoury?
Savoury.

What’s your brunch soundtrack?
Duke Ellington – some classic jazz.

Casual or posh brunch?
Casual, there’s time to get dressed up later in the day.

Scrambled, poached, sunny side up or friend?
Poached. And the eggs have to be very fresh.

How do you like your Belvedere Bloody Mary?
With extra Tabasco and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
