Daily Coverage: Avsh Alom Gur

As the first model strode down the catwalk the collection unfolded with a sureness of touch- her huge gold sleeves contrasted with the slimmest of fine black jersey dresses - made a strong statement. every detail of hair, make-up and styling was slick and polished. The confidence of the build up from a red asymetric sweater dress through to de luxe devore silk chiffon velvets was complete. A Parma velvet bubble coat would have thrilled Poiret, the black vest dress which gradually opened out into godets finished with a massive flounce was truly Vionnet style and the twenty first century flapper dresses entirely constructed of ribbons were real winners as the fluttered and shimmied down the runway. The colour palette encompassed deep plums and damsons as well as peony pinks, all designed to flatter. A winning collection all round.
