Raf Malanga – On|Off Website Designer

This is the fourth season that Urban Junkies is involved with On|Off and the second for you. What's the main difference between this and the last?
As far as On|Off's web presence is concerned, structure, information and commitment is the same. But this time we tried to make the website easier to navigate and more straight-forward, giving it a sort of blogger's feel. I'm proud of what Far Studios did last season, but I'm even happier with the new style. And I love that cream coloured background.

You're among the first to see the photos from the collections - and so see them without the guidance from the critics - have anything made you go Wow! this season so far?
I haven't seen all collections yet, but Aimee McWilliams' one seems really striking. I believe it stands out for the boldness of the tints and contrast. While working on On|Off, it's always fun browsing through the party pics. There are some crazy people out there!

Best moment so far?
Having breakfast after completing the first daily coverage.

Do you have a passion for fashion and if so, any favourite designers?
I have a passion for style although I have lost touch with the very latest fashion trends and must-do. In my wardrobe you'd happen to find a few Daniele Alessandrini and Mauro Grifoni - I like the simplicity of their clothes and the great fabrics they use. Every time I go back to Italy, I make sure to check their new stuff.

If you weren't web designing, what would you be doing?
Probably print design or anything to do with graphics. And if I weren't doing that either and were rich, I would take the first flight to Mexico!
