Want Some Candy? |
 |
 |
 |
A
night out these days seems to do one thing - confirm that
I am indeed ageing. From the blank looks that ripple across
the dance floor when a classic 80s track comes on, it's
clear that we are dealing with an every an ever increasing
born in the 90s crowd.
I should be babysitting these youngins, not dancing with
them! |
 |
These
are the MySpace kids, or the Einstein
Generation as Jeroen Boschma calls them in his book
- now finally available in Spanish. Apparently smarter,
faster and more social, these media-savvy creatures
are the fresh-faced babies you find at London’s
I
heart Niyi or Apolo’s Club
Tropicana. All making me feel positively nerdy when
I think back of myself at the same age.
