As you know, we at UJ are huge Halloween fans.

Any chance to dress up, really, but if there's one day of the year you can shamelessly be a cheerleader, KISS member, boyscout or dead celeb, this is definitely it.

And after the success of our Halloween shake-down at Proud Galleries last year, we've decided this needs to be an annual event. So next Wednesday, October 31, we'll be throwing a UJ Halloween Extravaganza at DEX, the new members' bar in Brixton, complete with two terraces, hot tub, and kicking soundsystem.

Entry is free (see below for details), drinks from 7-9pm are gratis courtesy of Patrón and Baltika Beer, and we're even throwing in a bit of bubbly, to get the festivities started.

Music will be an indoor /outdoor affair, with sets from Audiosushi (DJ Disatronaut resident at Sketch) and Jools Butterfield (Lovebox), with a live performance from the brilliant George Demure (August Day Recordings), as well as other spooky surprises.

We've also set up a discount, for those of you who like to throw money at the fancy dress affair, with Angels (who else?), where you receive 10% off hire 'costumes' in store (print out invite), and 10% off 'costumes' bought online (enter promo code UJHP10). And as the prize for best fancy dress is a membership to DEX, you'll be happy you made the effort.

All we ask in return is for your presence on this great All Hallows Eve, so gather your friends and let the games begin.

Entrance is by guestlist only with places allocated on a first-come-first-served basis to the first 400 RSVPs to trick-or-treat@urbanjunkies.com received after 4pm today. You will receive an email confirming your place if you have received a spot (plus one).
