Talking about the 1970s, go back to 1973 as the Lesbian and Gay Film Festival gives you a second chance to see Misawa's Eden's Curve tonight. Another chance also to see the audience smash Alice. 6:15pm and 8:40pm. NFT, South Bank, SE1. £7.50 | |||
Don't mix up your sporting references. Ascot 1972 have very little to do with ridiculous hat wearing opportunities and a lot to with cool trainer wearing opportunities. 1972, the year the company was founded, provided the name for the brand and also the stylistic slant for their new understated men’s range, which are seriously cool in a Björn Borg kind of way. So, take note all you sneaker pimps and brand revivalists out there. Starting at £50 a pair, colours for spring include Black, White, Gold and Racing Green, with a nice little retro logo, which has more in common with the Dunlop 'Flash' than the Nike 'Swoosh'. Hey, even I'd wear them, and I'm a shoe boy! Although they are only available for export customers at the moment,
they are soon to be launched in the U.K. ST |
