Tunick takes photos of nudes - and we're not talking one or two, we're talking about thousands of nudes. Flesh on concrete, flesh on gravel, flesh against flesh, mounds and mounds of flesh.

Naked bodies in urban and natural settings, that's his deal. Naked? In public? Yes, and he's only been in the slammer once (thanks Giuliani), because people respect his uninhibited vision, and they love taking part. When Tunick puts out the call for volunteers, people come a-flocking to shed their threads.
