Three Minute Madness @ICA showcases stuff & ideas by creative collective BD4D (By Designers For Designers). 7pm. The Mall, SW1. £5.

The film, whose star Linda Lovelace (to be played by Ms Courtney Love in an upcoming biopic) eventually became an anti-porn campaigner, was the movie that brought porn to the public. Somehow, its loose (we'd say very loose) plot line allowed it to be shown in mainstream cinemas of 31 US States. Lines such as "Do you mind if I smoke while you're eating?" and the firework, rockets and bell-ringing accompanied orgasms ensured it iconic status.

The film is set to be shown in art house cinemas across the country later this year, but for now, your best chance of getting close to this cult flick is to see the newly made documentary, Inside Deep Throat, which examines the makings and effects of the film.
