Escape with UJ at this summer’s hottest event

Long have we at UJ lamented the lack of great Miami-style swimming soirees here in London. In order to get even the smallest splash, it seems you need to either tough it out with the tikes at the Serpentine, or curb-crawl the sides of Shoreditch House’s rooftop pool.

So we’ve come up with a solution. This year, Urban Junkies have teamed up with one of our very favourite hideaways, the absolutely beautiful Cowley Manor, to throw a pool party: and you’re invited to join us for an overnighter of slumbertastic proportions! Long known as the country bolthole for style savvy Londoners, Cowley Manor is an award winning, contemporary country house hotel and spa set within 55 acres of Cotswold lakes and meadows.

Cowley Manor is transforming the gardens into a summer playground this year with picnics, theatre under the stars and an array of other activity - and it all starts with the UJ Pool Party. Held at Pool.Side, Cowley’s outdoor bar, lounge and pool, the party kicks off with our poolside soiree complete with DJ sets from UJs residents and free Bombay Sapphire cocktails. You can choose to indulge in treatments from the neighbourghing C.Side spa, or just chill out on the sun loungers with waiter service. We’ll then move things up to the main house for the night where you can dine from the delicious bar menu in the modern hunting-lodge style dining room, before continuing the party in the manor with more DJ sets. Kids, it’s going to be big fun and we want you to be there!

Of course it wouldn’t be a UJ party without a fabulous theme, so we’re going Tropical Disco; bring your super bright colour blocking, paradiso prints and some fruity fashion to help us ring in the British summertime with style! There’ll be plenty of surprises on the day too - so what are you waiting for? Rooms are going to book out fast, so we’re giving you plenty of notice. Come sleepover with UJ — we promise we won’t snore. But a post-pool pillow fight might just be in order.

The Essentials

The party will be held on Friday June 3rd from 3pm.
Those wishing to stay overnight can take advantage of UJ preferential rates:

£195 for a Good or Better Room
£245 for a Great or Exceptional Room
Prices are based on 2 adults sharing one bedroom, inclusive of a full breakfast, access to the pool party and house party,VIP welcome in rooms and other surprises on the day. Check in time is 3pm, check out time is 12 midday. Dinner is not included in the price.
For those who just want to attend the pool and house after-party, tickets are £25 and include complimentary cocktails but exclude accommodation.

The Location

Cowley Manor is located in the idyllic village of Cowley, not far from Cheltenham and Cirencester. Cowley Manor is under a 2 hr drive from London or 1.5 hrs train journey from London Paddington into Kemble. Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements both to and from the venue.
