Since launching at IMS Ibiza last May, W Hotels' Who's In Town series has travelled to Paris, followed by London, and now it's time for St. Petersburg. The next instalment of the music series sees rising star Scarlett Etienne take to the decks at W St. Petersburg's miXup bar on November 2. And for those who are planning on attending the event, or are planning a trip to St Petersburg, homegrown fashion and W Insider Daria has you sorted on where to go and what to do. Read on for her tips.

EAT:
. . .
Go off the tourist track at Jerome: a cosy French restaurant that does everything from breakfast to late night dinners. For the best coffees, wander five minutes up the road to Sicaffe, and if you want to try the best poppy seed buns in the world, a visit to boutique patisserie Bize is a must. For a business lunch MiX in St.Petersburg has a French menu inspired by Alain Ducasse, but when it comes to dinner, it has to be Russian cuisine, check out Mari Vanna, (which also has an London outpost). Burgers are the 'it' trend at the moment. For the best of its kind, get a table at new restaurant and bar Buro, it's buzzing every night.

PARTY:

. . .
In St. Petersburg you never go to just one bar or club- it's always a hop. Start the evening with some stiff shots at Jimmy Yeltsin, or opt for a more laid back lounge affair at Zing Bar. For dancing with a view head to the miXup bar and terrace, and finish the night with a guaranteed bang up after party at Dom Beat: a club created by the same folks behind Solyanka - the mecca of Moscow clubbing.
. . .

. . .

SHOP:
FASHION | LIFESTYLE
. . .
For high fashion, concept store Day & Night has everything from Balmain to Ostwald Helgason. If you want to explore Scandinavian and Russian designs, Lyyk Design Market has a great selection of clothing that is purely design led. The store has no labels or brands on any of the stock.
. . .

. . .

RELAX:

. . .
For a traditional Russian massage book into Bliss Spa for their exclusive Spa-Sibo treatment. Expect a deep tissue massage with some heavy handed 'kneading'. The spa also gives you access to their swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Top tip: make sure you order the signature brownies and champagne.
. . .

. . .

MUST-DO:

. . .
Visit the traditional Russian Banya (sauna) Degtyarnie Baths for its history and traditional Russian elements, and make sure to finish the day with a heavy Russian dinner, filled with bellinis, caviar and vodka shots – UJ recommends Tsar for a night on the decadence. And lastly for a tourist jaunt, hop the rooftops of St. Petersburg via the rooftop tour with inroof.
