Carnaby's Street Eat Party

It’s no secret that #UJLoves our Carnaby HQ. Overlooking the Newburgh Quarter, we’re never far from the essentials; morning pick-me-ups from The Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, a post-work drink at The White Horse, or a taco fix at Temper. Plus, Kingly Court makes lunchtimes easy with Le Bab, Cinnamon Soho and Cahoots for all our celebratory fizz-related needs.

On Saturday 3rd June, it’s time to get culinary in Carnaby with Street Eat; a neighbourhood party that showcases the best of the area, bringing the inside out. The main street will be transformed into an al fresco dining space, and the Newburgh Quarter will be a relaxed area with DJs, deck chairs and drinks from Meantime – plus free ice cream sandwiches (just try and stop us).

And the food? Oh, the food. Save some room, because there are some serious highlights, and we want all of them. If you’re going for indulgence, there’s oysters and prosecco from Soho institution Wright Brothers, Dehesa’s grilled scallops and slices from Pizza Pilgrims. If you want to do things the healthy way, try UJ fave The Detox Kitchen, Island Poké or ramen from Shoryu. Plus, get ahead of the hype, as Darjeeling Express and Ugly Dumpling will both be previewing dishes from their yet-to-be-launched menus. What are you waiting for? Grab a cocktail and dine your way through UJ’s hood!

Street Eat is free-entry, and takes place in Carnaby between 12-6pm on Saturday 3rd June
