Style Bubble blogger and Commissioning Editor at Dazed Digital, Susanna Lau, sends us her list of loves.

Arriving into London Fashion Week straight from New York was a big mistake. Saturday went by in a haze and I haven't been able to process everything fully yet.  Still, from the fuzzy haze of my jet-lagged mind, a few things stuck out. Stopped by Louise Gray's presentation where electric blue, hot pink and all sorts of textures and Gray's signature embellishments were out in force. Wish I was a Russian oligarch who could do a sweeping personal order of an entire collection.

Then rushed off to the Topshop Unique show where I managed to catch it just in time.  Camden grunge, sequins and a lot of layers, piled on a way that appeals to layer-freaks like myself. Katie Grand was radiant post show and I had to congratulate her on the brilliance that is Love magazine which came out last week. Usual rock sprog crowd (Daisy Lowe et co.) were out in force. Why do they always make me feel like I'm 50 years old with a zimmerframe.

There was a ladylike elegance to the way Basso & Brooke mixed their prints this time, and they’re the sort of clothes I’d wear if I were to host dinners at a mock-baroque hall. That’s if I manage to find my own mock-baroque hall.

Made it just in time for Peter Jensen and Ann Sofie Back where it was all about folkloric detailing from Greenland (Jensen) and iconic horror movies (Back). Slashed pieces at Ann Sofie Back are just giving me excuse to go mad with a seam ripper and my old clothes. First Kanye West sighting of this season’s LFW. Eating a sausage roll no less.

The next day began with a mad rush to Christopher Kane only to find it started pretty much bang on time and was thus denied. Tatler editors were also left stranded outside. When everyone came flooding out, they swooned over how beautiful it was. Typical that I miss THE key show of the season.

Spotted Lulu Kennedy (brains behind Fashion East/MAN) ALREADY wearing the Nicholas Kirkwood for Louise Gray silk devore fuschia shoes. How does one steal shoes from someone’s feet without them noticing? Had an overdose of rhubarb cake and smoothie at Richard Nicoll with the pale pink colour echoed in Nicoll’s streamlined show. The soft porn nudie prints and pastel flowers encased in clear PVC pieces made my day.

Onto Emilio de la Morena at ON OFF at the new Science Museum venue. Kids going to see fun exhibitions there were gawking at my strange Bless trousers. Was late but was chuffed to find Emilio has returned to his original sculptural routes in strong vivid colours.

The final show at Danielle Scutt was short but sexily sweet. I wish I had the balls to pull off zipper slashed tight jumpsuits. Found myself sitting next to Kanye West at front row in a bizarre seating shift. I had to ask him how he was finding London Fashion Week and in that succinct Kanyeeezy way, he just said “Yeah it’s cool…”
Took away a Danielle Scutt tee from the goody bag which will server as a reminder that perhaps my body is only made for wearing her loose tees as opposed to the body conscious catwalk garms.
