Brunch Ode for Those Staying Behind

London becomes a gentler, kinder place during bank holiday weekends. Full of the promise of warmer weather, the pleasure of empty streets and no queues for the morning paper, it can be intensely liberating to skip the frazzled queues of Stansted eurotrash and spend a bank holiday weekend in the calm comfort of home.

Whether you round up a posse of like-minded rebels, or just want to treat yourself to an unhurried late-morning feast, the following recipes will help you make up your own bank holiday brunch. Bare feet and generous mugs of coffee are highly recommended accompaniments.

Jennifer Klinec from Eat Drink Talk has kindly agreed to provide Urban Junkies readers with mouthwatering recipes and foodtips.

To learn more, classes at Eat Drink Talk are held in Jennifer's beautiful loft in Clerkenwell, packed with information and useful tips, and you'll get to sample all of the delicious dishes prepared during class.
