Ice Ice Baby
As yet another London summer mantra of ‘let the temperature get above 22’ begins, we can at least send our taste buds to the tropics with icy cold granitas.
Unlike ice cream which needs an expensive machine and lots of whisking, granita needs no fancy equipment or tools. With one pot, an empty Flora container, a fork and a broom closet sized kitchen you can turn the best of summer’s berries and cherries into a delicious icy slush that will end your dinner parties in style.
Here are three recipes for granita to take your childhood Mr Freezie fantasies to adulthood with finesse.
