Jean-Pierre Braganza

Born in London, Jean-Pierre Braganza was raised in Montreal, Canada. He then returned to London to study at Central St Martin's college. During college he worked with Robert Cary-Williams, where he learned about the art of chaos and the skills and enthusiasm for working with leather. After graduation, he began to work with Roland Mouret where he honed his tailoring skills and learned an appreciation for detail. In February 2004, he presented his first full collection of men and womenswear at London Fashion Week earning excellent editorial reviews. Sexy, futuristic womenswear and menswear with balls is what Braganza makes. He believes that men should be dandies and return to the age of the peacock. He takes classical garments and expands and contracts them with intricate tailoring and dramatic silhouettes. His clothes are uncompromising and beyond trends, worn by rock 'n' roll boys and sexily androgynous girls.
