Ibiza, it’s all systems go! We’ve already been over for a run around, and we can report, it’s definitely feeling great. Maybe better than recent years. The new is bubbling, but so is the old. We’ve said it before, but you can find whatever it is you’re looking for here (apart from easy fitness it seems: more on that below); enjoy!

 | | | | UNVRS | | So, the big news this season is that Privilege (which was KU), widely considered the largest nightclub in the world, is now UNVRS. We haven’t been in yet, but from the opening night, it seems big, as expected (complete with Vicio burgers inside), has some more pared-back effects (like shutters behind the DJ booth, which let the light in come daylight, which is a classy touch), and also… seems to have more than a sprinkling of Vegas (with Fisher recently rappelling in…), but let’s see! A new club is always welcome; the island must evolve. We have our eyes on their nights with Carl Cox (Sundays, à la Space) and Jamie Jones’ Paradise (Tuesdays).

 | | | | | Soho Farmhouse | | The other big story, of course, is that Soho Farmhouse is coming… which you will have heard by now, but we can’t wait to see what they’ve done with one of our favourite agroturismos (Cas Gasi) on the island. It’s a great location and we’re sure they’ve made the most of the space.

 | | | | | New Website | Partner content | | Our friends at the OD Hotel group have had a subtle rebrand, and are now OD Neighbourhood Hotels. Owners of one of the first boutique hotels on the island – the legendary Ocean Drive – they’ve always led the way, and ‘neighbourhood’ here translates to highlighting local things – ingredients on their menu, artists and musicians – in each of their destinations. Book in now to see how local translates to their different Spanish properties.

 | | | | | Opening Soon! | | Yes, you can get whatever you’re after in Ibiza, but we still maintain that finding great fitness classes to pop into is not that easy. This new wellness club is opening at Clap House Ibiza: we’re not sure exactly what they will have, but more wellbeing is great by us. Oh, and on that note, we’re seeing sober parties coming through too – called, fittingly, Unblurred (here’s an old one).

 | | | | | CAN Art Fair | | We love this art fair. From 25-29 June, CAN Art Fair descends again on Ibiza. Like any art fair, the preview night (Wed) is the one to attend if you can get an invite, and we have it on good authority that there’s a lot of ‘off schedule’ happenings on too, around the island, so it’s a great time to visit. There are galleries participating from Milan to Mexico City, so it’s very international, as well – all, really, a sign of Ibiza 2025.

 | | | | | Piropo Club for Private Parties | Partner content | | Take note: Ocean Drive Talamanca has a subterranean, 70s-inspired disco den, Piropo, that can be hired for private parties, which truly makes sense if you’re with a group. Stay at the hotel, start upstairs on the terrace for sunset, have dinner at the Sky Bar on the roof for twilight, and head downstairs for undisturbed raving late night. Serviced by their hotel team, this is a great way to have your own private getaway, with a little help from professional friends. And the best part? When you’ve had enough, you can sneak on up to your room, order room service, sit on your balcony and enjoy the peaceful views. Luxe, easy, fun.

 | | | | | Pomelo | Pomelo | | This is the latest venture from the Grupo Mambo gang (Café Mambo, Sa Capella, Casa Maca, to name a few), who took over the chiringuito on Cala Gració last year, and have relaunched it with a new, but very fitting look. They also have some greats at the helm: Ángel Zapata, ex Barrafina, on the menu, Javier at front of house (before he heads to Casa Maca later…), and a long-time charismatic staffer of the old chiringuito on tables. Get a bed, order lunch, have a swim: this is a great new spot. It’s also minutes from their excellent beachfront restaurant Cala Gracioneta, too.

 | | | | | Jacquemus | Bravo | | There’s beach club branding, and then there’s beach club branding with Jacquemus and Jondal. This is really, really well done. The perfect sherbet yellow hues for the lounge chair dressing; a boutique for those post-rosé purchases (oops); that same truly outstanding Jondal menu. And somehow, they’ve still managed to (mostly) keep a kind of St Tropez vibe off the beach. All that’s left to say is, go!

 | | | | | Silencio | Island round up | | Bonito is a new hotel that has Wayne Lineker as a partner; but thankfully, it’s seemingly more OKU vibes than O Beach. 7 Pines Hotel (which has outstanding views), has Amsterdam’s live-fire restaurant, Nela, in residence this summer, before it heads to London in the autumn. The Standard now has a collaboration with Copenhagen’s Gasoline Grill in Jara, serving an Ibiza special, sobrasada smash burgers made fresh daily until they’re gone, as well as other burgers. There’s a Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen (no comment) in the Ushuaïa Tower hotel, which is now called The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel (no comment), and Silencio has a new listening bar, URUSAI Sunset Bar (to complement Urusai Ibiza, their izakaya), which looks great; we love that cove, Cala Molí.

 | | | | | Coming Soon and Just Launched | | PORTA is a new brand born in Ibiza that’s coming soon; stay tuned. ReVOLVER has a new, second space now in the port of Ibiza town, and Kim-Lillian Strebel, one half of the power duo that is Kim (opera singer) and Seth (Troxler, DJ), now has a brand with Atelier Handmade called ‘Let Me Play’, and it looks fun! Available at Six Senses Ibiza. The Attico, an unofficial Ibiza brand via Milan (we love), has chosen Ibiza as the location of their first boutique, and Australian designer brand Zimmermann, is now on the White Isle, too. Oh, and if you haven’t been to Ibiza town in awhile, Annie’s has moved – she’s now across from La Oliva (the good one) in Dalt Vila.

 | | | | | Siesta Chiringuito | Siesta Chiringuito | | This might just be our current fave. ❤️ Low-key, plastic chairs on the sand (they’re still allowed here; feels unfair how there are different laws, depending on your location, across the island), cold cañas, and they’re now serving grilled fish. Run, don’t walk. But also, don’t tell anyone.

|
 | | | | | All Change | | Casa Pacha, the club’s small (and v expensive, even for the Balearics) hotel has now changed hands, and is now called Hannah Formentera. It looks similar, but we’re wondering, has the vibe changed? Do report back if you go please.

 | | | | | New | | Ibiza has never been short of concierges, which is why good ones (hello, Deliciously Sorted) really stand out. But concierges with a restaurant focus: now those are new (er), and already feeling crowded. Interested? PRIMA VIP (MIA, LA, and now IBZ) is now on the island, and we hear Dorsia is getting in on the action, too.

|
 | | | | | Liz Mendez | | Doing a shoot, or need styling support in Ibiza? Then call Liz Mendez! As the stylist behind some of the island’s most fashionable club night looks and global magazine shoots done locally, she’s a great island style resource, no matter what you need help with.

 | | | | | Ibiza Hike Station | | Ibiza Hike Station, the much-loved leaders of interesting, picturesque, hard-to-find Ibiza hikes, now do group hikes (check their schedule) – and also now offer hikes in Mallorca, too.

|
 | | | | | Cala San Miguel | | We headed up north, to hide away for a few days and check out Cala San Miguel hotel.
