Maybe
I'm a bit thick, but the news of Ford's Fiesta Love
Factory bar on Aribau threw me off. Firstly, the
confusion caused by Fiesta taking over a place called
Mini, and then, the incongruity of a car company
peddling alcoholic drinks.

 |
But
perhaps it has something to do about the address - it's
shared by BroadBar, and that's one place whose concept
I've never understood, either.
I thought its 'broadcast' theme meant that I'd might
finally be able to watch television while eating, making
up for the times I had to turn off the box as a kid,
but no, apparently it's to do with "webcast",
"artist development platform" and other fancy
words.
But I'm a simple guy who just fancied the prospect
of cutting out the useless small talk over dinner. What's
the point of “my day was fine, too”, when
you can go “hush, I can't hear what he's saying”?

So
the concept at Movie Restaurant seems tailor-made
for me: Movies and dinner. And tonight it's vintage
night with black & white classics. So simple
that even I get it. Now hush, I'm eating.
