After years of renovations and restorations, brutalist stalwart Hayward Gallery is open once again, with the first major UK retrospective of the work of acclaimed German photographer Andreas Gursky. He’s known for huge-scale, spectacular images portraying scenes from the global economy and contemporary life, created with ‘the pure joy of seeing’ in mind – book in and be blown away.
