UJ favourite Elephant Magazine has just announced plans to open a new art project space in White City in time for autumn. In the same year that it seems all eyes are on the west (as opposed to the east), Elephant West will serve as a hub for West London’s arts community, taking over a converted petrol station and commissioning installations from emerging artists and supporting the careers of young creatives. Think live dance and music performances, film screenings and talks and workshops curated by the magazine, as well as a café, shop and garden area. Ahead of the autumn launch, the Elephant Curational team will be running a series of pop-up events and activities, so watch that space!
