New wine bar and restaurant Enoteca Pomaio has arrived in Shoreditch just in time for summer. Tuscan brothers Marco and Iacapo Rossi are behind it, and they also happen to own the award winning Italian winery Podere di Pomaio which lends the new venture its name. So it’s a safe bet that the wine is going to be good – but what about the food? Well, the kitchen is helmed by Francesco Mastronardi (previously of the Four Seasons in both Florence and Milan), so we’ve got high hopes; menu highlights include quail egg and truffle bruschetta, wild boar risotto and cocoa and marron semifreddo. Brick Lane just upped its foodie game.
