James Cochran brings Caribbean-Scottish fusion to Angel. After rave reviews for tapas hotspot EC3 in Liverpool Street, the former two star Michelin chef opens his second site in Islington, complete with a snack-friendly menu, jerk chicken and flatbreads, and we’re pretty intrigued by flavours like grapefruit hollandaise, blue cheese doughnuts and fennel kimchi. With an open-styled kitchen, DJ decks and 20 seater dining terrace, it looks like Cochran’s N1 is ready for every party.
