London Design Festival Highlights

Art & Culture

This event has ended.

London Design Festival returns to London for its fifteenth year and with so much to take in, it’s almost impossible to know where to start. Have a look at our highlights before seeing where the week takes you…

Designjunction
21st-24th Sep

A cutting-edge interior design show that’s set to take over the entire King’s Cross Granary Square and Cubitt Square area, head to Designjunction for their extensive talks programme, workshops held in collaboration with Central Saint Martins and tours where you’ll be able to explore the renewal and regeneration King’s Cross has experienced.

Universal Design Studio: On Repeat
16th-24th Sep

Architecture and interior design practice Universal Design Studio will be exploring creativity through repetition at their Repeat Pavilion on Rivington Street, with free classes and discussions from the art of choux to drawing workshops. We recommend dropping by to learn something unexpected!

The Mechanics of Disbelief
21st Sep

Yes, Flynn Talbot’s Reflection Room is one of the highlights of this year’s event, but don’t miss the rest of the programming taking place at the V&A. On 21st September, stage designer Es Devlin will be examining the mechanics of disbelief and the origins of illusion. Having created stage sets in collaboration with Beyoncé, Kanye West, U2, Jay Z, Adele and The Weeknd, we’re pretty intrigued to learn a thing or two from someone with such a penchant for drama.
