Southbound celebrates its first birthday with one huge party at Electric Brixton on Friday. With a keen eye on the best of South London bass culture, Southbound will be going back to their roots for their anniversary, with a UK Garage vs Bassline showdown. Old school super group UKG All Stars, So Solid Crew and Wookie will be repping the garage corner, with Preditah and Notion, Jamie Duggan and Bass Boy in the Bassline camp. Mike Skinner tops the bill – he’ll be taking the crowd back to his Original Pirate Material days for some serious lo-fi nostalgia.
