My Generation

Art & Culture

This event has ended.

Michael Caine’s film, My Generation, hits cinemas for one night only on 14th March. Told through the eyes of an icon who was at the centre of the action, My Generation also collates contributions from Twiggy, Marianne Faithful, Jean Shrimpton, The Rolling Stones, David Bailey and Mary Quant. To celebrate, 3 Carnaby Street will present a free exhibition showcasing photography, prints and unseen archive footage from the era. As the birthplace of Swinging London, this exhibition goes back to the start of a remarkable era, showcasing works from Terry O’Neill, Brian Duffy and Barry Lategan.

Don’t miss the Q&As with Edith Bowman:

Mon 12th March: 6-7pm – David Batty, My Generation director

Mon 19th March: 12.30-1.30pm – Terry O’Neill, photographer
