Half-baked midweek plans? Forget them. Leandro Carreira’s Londrino is going all-in to celebrate Lisbon’s Sardine Festival here in London. Grilled, pickled and tinned versions of the humble sardine are currently taking centre stage at Londrino, with Portuguese Love Affair selling their famous tinned sardines to buy at the bar. To finish the festival on 23rd June, London Bridge neighbours José Pizarro and Brett Redman will be going head to head with Leandro to create a different sardine dish each for guests, while the kitchen provides carafes of sangria, platters of sardines and bread to dish out to the restaurant, bar and terrace all day long – #UJLoves.
