The Osman Townhouse

Art & Culture and Shopping

This event has ended.

Set in a Georgian terrace north of Oxford Street, the Osman Townhouse has taken over multiple floors of the 1760s building, filling it with Osman Yousefzada’s latest collection (hung on custom-made copper rails), antique books and contemporary art from Celia Hampton. Envisioning something far and away from a simple flagship store, Osman set out to create a 3D version of his arts and culture publication, The Collective, and the townhouse is certainly a book of wonder made real. Osman called on his extensive circle of creative friends to fill it with fashion and art alongside his ready-to-wear collections, private atelier and rare finds bookshop. The Birmingham-born designer plans to let young artists take over the space and provide a setting for their work away from a traditional gallery context. We say get over to Percy Street when you have a spare few hours and see where that townhouse takes you.
