Jade Jagger

We caught up with her at her MAC launch

In Conversation

During a lunch at Jade Jagger’s house to celebrate the launch of her new MAC range, we managed to steal five minutes with her to ask her some of her favourite spots in London and beyond. We also tried out some of the products – glowy, mineral-based make-up inspired by her jewellery collection – and #UJLoves!

If you had to choose one, what’s your favourite restaurant in London?
Right now it’s got to be Smoking Goat – I dream about their delicious Thai food. It’s so pungent and spicy, I especially love the noodles and the duck larb.

Where do you go to celebrate when you’re abroad?
Neta in New York – one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in the world. Everything there is exquisite and unique.

If you could board a plane right now, where would it be to?
I would love to go to Tangier – I’ve never been and I’m longing for it as the days get colder and darker. I’ve always loved Marrakech too, it’s so close to Europe but the culture is really different.

You’ve spent a lot of time in Goa, do you have an absolute favourite restaurant or bar?
La Plage on Ashwem beach is one of my old favourites – it’s run by my friends so I always have a great time tasting all of their innovative dishes. Also Elevar next door does great Asian food.

And in Formentera? Where will we find you?
On the beach in Es Pujols on my paddle board, and then having pasta at El Giovale.
