SUPER SUPER HOT HOT LFW HIGHLIGHTS

VOL 2 (Has "free drink fatigue" set in yet? Not likely!) So, to the main event: The Basso & Brooke show, Shepherd's Bush Empire. 'IT BEGAN IN AFRIK-K-K-A' was the theme. Not just Africa, mind, almost a whole colonial run-down: bright colours, exquisite detailing, sumptuous cutting, 'F-NIK' prints a go-go!

The first 80% was a procession of hugely desireable, wearable yet statement frocks guaranteed to consolidate B&B's rise & rise as a genuine power 'house' in world fashion. The finale, showpieces were finery at its finest. Whisper 'couture' if you dare!

The after show party done by SUPER SUPER, naturally ;) saw a bonkers mash-up of people from the coolest just-turned-18-&-formed-a-hot-band types (cF Blondelle) to global fash industry power-brokers all strangely united on a Nu Rave-tastic Tantra glowing dancefloor. Teens of Thailand, Niyi and the one & only Zezi worked 'the ones & twos'!!

Elswhere, Gary, sorry, Gareth Pugh made his much anticipated debut in the BFC tents. With his highest sleb-count thus far, the Maccam boy didn't disappoint, with a blow-up catwalk reflecting his current status in the emerging London scene. As for Big Daddy Christopher Kane, well what can we say: a mere whippersnapper showing real class. London's definitely on the up ahey!!! By the way, have you ever had sex in a cab in Brompton? Answers on an Hermes scarf, please.
