With one more bank holiday around the corner, we’re ready to go somewhere soon! So, this week we have travel inspiration for you – both in the UK and further afield – and plenty of restaurants to try in London, too. Have great weeks all.

 | | | | | Miami on the Move | | | We’re always hearing about LDN and NYC places now popping up in Miami. But Miami transferring elsewhere? It’s happening. Coyo Taco, a Miami fave, is finally heading to LDN (fun fact: years ago, we were standing in a Miami check-in queue after Art Basel and were peeping on someone holding this exact business plan in their hands); we hope they bring their hidden rum bar with them. Also in London, a Michelin-starred Mexican from MIA, Los Félix, is popping up at The Ned, for a month this June. And heading to Capri is Miami’s Casa Tua, in the form of a beach club, restaurant and rooftop.

 | | | | | | Scent + Wellbeing | | | Yes, more wellbeing, but this time, it’s a new studio in Paris, Dream Seven Paris, by an ex-footballer turned fashion photographer who is combining scent and sculpture with wellbeing, in a space with high ceilings, stucco, and lots of light, in the 16th arrondissement. This follows our recent news about the Margiela Fragrance bar in The Commons Health Club in Melbourne. This is a ‘trend’ we can get behind.

 | | | | | | Florals For (Not) Spring | | | Spring is over, no? We’re thinking this is more pre-summer. Anyway, yes, these kind of hurt your eyes together (sorry), but there are some interesting florals coming through, especially for men.

 | | | | | | New | | Ovea – Paros
Opening this month, Ovea is positioning itself as a gastronomy-led hotel. It seems that, like Sifnos, Paros is making a push to be known as a foodie island; let’s see!
El Fenn x Broadwick Soho
From June-August, El Fenn Marrakech is popping up in London’s Broadwick Soho’s Flute Bar.
La Posta Vecchia Hotel
This Pellicano Hotels property has just unveiled a new pool and private beach.
Delano Miami Beach
The Delano has finally reopened and it’s brought some international friends into the 2.0 fold including Gigi Rigolatto from Ramatuelle/St Tropez, and the Japanese Mimi Kakushi from Dubai – seems like this Delano has definitely taken it up a notch on the positioning; deep pockets essential.
Louis Vuitton London Hotel
A pop up on Berkeley Square until 21 June, the Louis Vuitton hotel was created to celebrate the brand’s 130th anniversary. Highlights include Café Alma and Bar Noé. Book a ticket for entrance, or try your luck with walking in.
Party For One Travel
This is interesting. Cook’s Club, which has a collection of design-led hotels in Greece, Turkey and Egypt, are offering up to 50% rooms, for single use. A financial break for a party of one? Definitely is unique. Let’s hope other hotels follow suit.

 | | | | | | Rural Junkies | | Stay | | It’s around this time of year that we’re itching to get away for some fresh air. Here are a few retreats to inspire, chosen because we have it on good authority that Swedish cabin culture is a good time; Snowdonia ticks several boxes; and lastly, a Michelin-star chef’s home in Alentejo, which his talented cooking staff service, seems like just the treat we’d love to share with friends.

 | | | | | | Round Up | | | A little LA roundup. The David Geffen Galleries at LACMA recently officially opened – they’ve been 20 years in the making and cost over $700 million – and it looks beautiful; concrete and brutalist in design with light from every direction and views. It also has a restaurant, café and 27 galleries with over 2000 pieces of art. Aimé Leon Dore has opened a flagship store on Melrose Ave, and Kith has opened Ronnie’s Pronto, a NY-style takeaway café within their recently relaunched flagship, Kith West Hollywood.

 | | | | | | Rural Junkies | | Dine | | | Continuing on our rural theme, Canteen is opening in the Cotswolds (@canteen.oxfordshire); the chef behind the Michelin-starred Fordwich Arms in Kent is opening Keller in Whitstable, a new wine bar and restaurant with his former sommelier; and we still want to do The Bushcamp, the outdoor lunch/dinner by The Bull, Charlbury, that’s set up wherever you decide – by the sea, on a hill etc – and they provide everything, including sheepskin chair covers. They say a permanent summer camp is opening soon – these guys GET IT!

 | | | | | | Rural Junkies | | Nobu Woolfox | | | Hot on Soho Farmhouse’s heels is word that Nobu is launching its first countryside retreat, in Rutland (less than an hour from London via King’s Cross), in partnership with Woolfox (the lifestyle club where Nobu will be), with a hotel, spa, branded residences, and a focus on, guess: wellbeing! (And sushi, of course.)

 | | | | | | Malta | | | It was just announced that the Ibiza party Music On is going to Malta for one night of tech house, 1 August. Seems like a good time to check out the beautiful new hotel there, Casa Bonavita (opens 15 May), from the couple who founded The Rug Company.

 | | | | | | Trains | | | Launched in 2025 and running full itineraries this year, the Belmond Britannic Explorer has three- to six-night journeys to the Lake District, Cornwall and Wales, with two stylish dining cars and a wellness suite. In the US, this year Amtrak launched new luxury private sleeper cars with a viewing dome and dedicated chef, and they say SoloSuites are in the works, meaning more single travel advancement.
