Beach club in the protected bay of Paraga

Mykonos can be windy, and this idyllic beach cover means that no matter the weather, you’re going to have a good time here. Known for their entertainment, start at the beach – choose a front row cabana, classic sunbed, or VIP bungalow – and make your way into the restaurant for a menu of Med-fusion and Japanese with a modern European twist. They have live performances alongside their resident DJ and singer, and the staff are known for becoming part of the party. If you want to be in the heart of it, get a VIP cabana, which bridges the restaurant and the beach.

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Order GREY GOOSE Altius on the rocks, sip it in the sunshine, and watch as the day unfolds and the vibe goes from chill to fiesta.

Lifestyle concept from the global powerhouse

Yes, there are Zumas across the globe, but this is the only one that is more of a lifestyle concept and has a pool. Perched on a hill close to the port, it has unobstructed sunset views, daybeds, a bar, and of course, a restaurant with that exceptional Zuma menu; there are chains, and then there are chains…

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Book a sunbed for a stylish sunset martini, and continue on after dinner in their lounge for DJs and musicians.

This is a good one

We had to include this, as we first went to this property when it was the pop up hotel, San Giorgio, a collaboration between two hoteliers and Design Hotels. They then started Scorpios, and the rest is beach club history. Soho House have now owned the property for the last five years, and in its current iteration, Soho Roc House, there’s a pool, gardens, outdoor gym and dining. Yes, you have to be a member, but we’re sure you are or are travelling with one!

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Reserve a table at nearby Scorpios and go from beach to sunset (watching the sun go down is a daily ritual here) to dinner to open-air dancing, with some of the biggest names behind the decks. View their schedule.

Steak and raw bar

Set in the Old Town, Drakoulis Garden is where you come for golden hour drinks, excellent steaks and raw dishes. Lively and slick, it feels both local and cosmopolitan; from Athens to Mykonos as they say.

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Smooth vodka pairs perfectly with smokey steaks and a great atmosphere.

Open air clubbing with global DJs

Set on a hill over Paradise Beach, Cavo Paradiso has global DJ talent every night, a pool, and, importantly, is largely open air and open until 7AM. They also have a sushi bar on the property with a tasting menu. Make it to the early hours, and you’re (almost) guaranteed a beautiful sunrise. Sultry Mykonos nights.

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Start with seafront sushi in a lively setting and move on to GREY GOOSE Altius on ice and get ready to dance! Be sure to check who is playing first.

Old school nightclub in town

A small nightclub in the heart of town that’s been rocking since 1987. It has a great terrace, and vibes from the 60s and 70s. We have it on good authority that this is the spot!

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Elegant martinis with friends under the stars is always a great start to the night.

Five star in the heart of Mykonos town

Peaceful with a sea breeze, this is the perfect place to rest your head after a high-energy night out. Manhattan that’s been Mykonos-ified is the vibe here. There are contemporary furniture pieces in neutral  tones throughout, with a hint of nautical as a nod to its seafront location. It’s refreshing to see something different than the straw and taupe décor that this island has coined.

The property is in the heart of it, but set slightly above, with a focus on views from every angle. Home, excitingly, to LPM (try a LA SUCETTE here, which is GREY GOOSE Vodka, strawberry yoghurt, CO2 and lollipop), there are 42 rooms across six categories, a pool with incredible views, a spa that has LED light therapy and an ice bath, and experiences that can be booked.

Kaz James, DJ, producer and Alemagou Wednesday night summer resident, says…

Top Tips
Flying here is the easiest way to access the island, but taking a boat from Athens is more relaxing if you’re not going direct. For a day trip, try Delos, the birthplace of Greek god Apollo and 10 minutes from Mykonos. Make sure you take home some Greek olive oil: it’s the best!

Alemagou
Alemagou always has a great vibe, and the food never disappoints. Go later in the afternoon for super chilled vibes and great music.

Kaz is on with a special guest from 9:30-midnight, every Wednesday until 27/9.

THANK YOU KAZ!

UJ Top Tip: Don’t forget that there are only 32 taxis in Mykonos, which means that if you want to get anywhere further than where you can walk, make sure you organise your transportation. Book a private transfer or use the iMove: Ride app to pre-book.

Season Closing Dates
Most large clubs have closing parties at the end of September, with the season really ending mid-October.
