More info

Heddon Street is making a comeback! First there was Sabor, then Momo Phase 2, and now the 10 Heddon St. residencies, the latest being a takeover from Chris Leach (Kitty Fisher’s, Pitt Cue Soho, Sager + Wilde) and David Carter (Smokestak). With these two at the helm, we expected great things, and great things we received. The menu is short  – charcuterie (one kind: mortadella), a salad (fennel and herbs), starters (mussels with nduja and gazpacho) and for mains, it was all about the handmade pastas. The menu changes frequently, but if they have the rigatoni with pumpkin seed pesto and anchovy on the menu, don’t leave without it. Dessert was a sorbet (Amalfi lemon black pepper) and wines were reasonable, good (as you’d expect with the Sager pedigree), and organic. They have outdoor seating, and the restaurant is well lit and buzzy. We hear they’re looking for a permanent spot in Soho, but get in here before they move on in November.
