From Naples, Alessio is one of the names behind the glossy IT group – the restaurants that seem to be following the global party set with their destinations (IT Ibiza is a marina staple, IT Tulum opened last Dec, and IT Mykonos opens this month). Alessio gives us some of his favourite things in Naples and news about the upcoming IT MYK.

Details

UJ: What’s your favourite hotel in Naples?
AM: I like the Romero Hotel – it’s the perfect place to see Capri from your room.

UJ: What are your favourite restaurants in Naples?
AM: I like Palazzo Petrucci, where you have to just follow the chef’s suggestions; Concettina ai Tre Santi is my favourite pizza, and obviously Danì Maison in Ischia.

UJ: What should we be sure not to miss, if we go to Naples?
AM: Be sure to take in the Neapolitan vibes by walking through the old streets of the old centre; feels like freedom! From Via Toledo, around Spaccanapoli, to the Lungomare, Napoli is an open-air museum and every street tells a story. You should go there to understand it more.

UJ: What’s your favourite thing on the menu at any IT?
AM: The mezzo pacchero cacio e pepe and the spaghetti pomodoro.

UJ: Anything you want to tell us about the new IT in Mykonos? A teaser?
AM: You’ll be able to discover our Italian soul, Tulum vibes and our Ibizan spirit; we try to mix different cultures that have the same love of the good life.

UJ: What is the opening date of IT Mykonos?
AM: 17th June 2021 – see you there.
