Known for its shopping, seafront dancing, and gourmet dinners, take a drive or boat trip in any direction and you’ll also find hidden coves, secluded beaches and waterfront tables with sunset views.

Special moments that feel instinctively elevated with GREY GOOSE® Altius.

Beach, dine, dance

Phi Beach Club is a favourite of Porto Cervo regulars for good reason. Yes, they get some of the biggest nightlife talent and it’s a luxe beach club, but it’s also very pared-back in some corners, which is a welcome combination. Book one of the simple tables for sunset, where the only ‘décor’ is front-row sea views. This is a huge venue with so much on offer: different restaurants, beach options, and clubbing areas (Nammos has a restaurant and beach club residency here this summer, Nammos Baja Sardinia, which alone gives you a hint as to the size of this place). Check their schedule, book whatever you need to, and reserve a buoy if you’re coming in by boat, natch.

Dolce & Gabbana DG Resort have taken over the Hotel Cala di Volpe, with a variety of different activations.

Seafood restaurant at the new W Sardinia

New! New! New! If you don’t stay here, you’ll definitely want to pop by the W Sardinia. Start with sunset on the WET Deck, then move onto dinner in their marina-front restaurant TANIT for extravagant seafood towers and exceptionally cold vodka martinis.

Tulum meets Costa Smeralda

A largely open-air club, where socialising revolves around a central pool, they say it’s a space for ‘music, ritual and connection’, which sounds like a GREY GOOSE Altius kind of place! They have great DJs and the size looks intimate, which is nice.

GREY GOOSE Altius Moment: Unfiltered sunsets and shared rituals with friends, featuring ice-cold serves that aren’t just drinks they’re part of the evening.
*The Sanctuary is seasonal.

Boat days are the best days

You can either reserve a boat through your concierge, or do the selection yourself by scrolling through a site like Nautal (there are several sites like these now). Choose a boat that suits you – size, dates, with a captain or without – and plan your day at sea, possibly with a reservation somewhere like La Scogliera on La Maddalena Island for lunch.

Location, location, location, with Belmond service

If you’re here, you’re not thinking about price, so get that out of the way and this is a lovely property. The hotel was designed in the 1960s, and this is its first season as a Belmond property; the location is outstanding, with incredible views and exclusive access to one of the best private beaches. There are also beachfront grills, Fiat 500 tours, and, fittingly, as Sardinia is a ‘Blue Zone’, several wellbeing options including hiking and biking.

Betty Bachz , filmmaker, writer, director, stylish woman about town and Sardinia insider says…

“Sardinia might be my happiest place – the turquoise sea, boat days, raw red shrimps straight from the water and a few cold drinks that stretch a lunch with the locals into sunset.”

THANK YOU BETTY!
