What's For Supper: In Good Spirits

In each of our classes at Eat Drink Talk, we greet our guests with a cocktail. It helps to break the ice, make people stop and catch their breath after a long day at work, and hopefully lets everyone know that they are in for an evening of delicious fun.

Cocktail mixology is a relatively new art for me - but one that I completely enjoy. I think the secret to a good cocktail is never to take shortcuts, which at EDT means flavouring our own vodkas, making our own sugar syrups, and the often messy task of juicing a pile of grapefruit or pomegranates to ensure that we get the best flavour.

Then comes the best part - slipping off your shoes, putting your feet up and taking five minutes to relax and enjoy your creation. Here are three of our favourite cocktails that we have been making in the EDT kitchen recently:

Pomegranate and Basil Martini Vietnamese Mojito Pineapple, Passionfruit and Mint Punch

Jennifer Klinec from Eat Drink Talk has kindly agreed to provide Urban Junkies readers with mouthwatering recipes and foodtips.

To learn more, classes at Eat Drink Talk are held in Jennifer's beautiful loft in Clerkenwell, packed with information and useful tips, and you'll get to sample all of the delicious dishes prepared during class.
