Soho House Barcelona Run Around

The Hotel
If you’ve stayed at a Soho House before, you’ll know they’re masters at making the most of their space. The minibars are stocked with things you actually want; the bathrooms have Soho House products to try (Skin, Cowshed), as well as anything you could need from brands you love; they have signature moments like their drinks cart at night; and there aren’t QR codes at every turn – you can still pick up the phone and call reception. We love that they send you an  email from an actual person before you arrive asking for any requests, too. It’s the little things! And they definitely add up.

The Location
The Soho House Barcelona is on the edge of the Barrio Gótico, and is the ideal location to get anywhere on foot. You’re in front of the Marina Port Vell, which is great if you want to run on the boardwalk or walk to the beach and its many restaurants. You’re easily able to weave through the gothic quarter to find your way to the neighbouring hip Borne area, and it’s easy to get to local neighbourhoods like Eixample and Gràcia, too. And as the hotel is just off a main street, it’s easy to get taxis, and you’re on a direct driving route to the airport, as well.

Soho Health Club (note no longer Cowshed)
There’s nothing better than taking a little time out for a spa treatment, no matter what kind of trip you’re on, and here you can maximise your time as they have add ons like compression boots, red light, oxygen infusion, cryo, and a hydrogel mask.

All of their treatments are forward-thinking, but their facials are results driven and include brands like Biologique Recherche, whose facials (Oxygen Facial for detoxification; The Lift facial for exactly that; Radiance Facial for a glow) are perfect for an instant glow up.

Restaurants/Bars
They have several places to dine here, but we love the Cecconi’s here. Non-members can book, too.

Anything Else
Be sure to reserve beds at the pool before you visit; bookings open 48 hours before the date, and there are several slots to choose from.

Barcelona Pool House
The third Soho House in BCN, the new Pool House is stunning. A Catalan mansion built in the 1900s, it overlooks Mount Tibidabo and feels like a bit of an escape from the city (although it’s only around 20 minutes from Soho House Barcelona). Book in here for lunch in their garden, followed by a day at the pool (book beds here too). Do have a look around the four-floor House: there are restored frescos and incredible artwork, and the House is also home to their second Soho Health Club, including their first vegetarian café.
