Heads up: Stevie Parle- the man who brought us Rotorino, Palatino and Craft – is opening a new pasta-centric restaurant on Carnaby’s Ganton Street (conveniently located just around the corner from us). Pastaio (which means one who makes pasta by hand) will feature a simple, concise menu; think potato and gravy ravioli, grouse rabbit and pork agnoli and cassarecce with pesto and green beans. Oh, and of course, there’ll be tonarelli cacio e pepe. Fresh pasta is a big deal right now, and we can’t wait to try Stevie’s take on it – expect good food, Tom Dixon-designed interiors (naturally) and a great soundtrack, all served with a side of Aperol slushie.
Pastaio will open in October.
