The Dorchester Roof

What’s new!

The Dorchester Roof seems to be a hit of the summer, and the latest collab to move into residency is one we’re excited about – the Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel. This two-month rooftop pop up will have their famed McCarthy salad and chocolate soufflés, live music and views.

Another outdoor one, FLOR, the Borough fave is now expanding, moving under the arches with a new, covered terrace. Opening mid-July, head chef Pamela Yung’s menu has been inspired by her travels in Spain, Italy and Mexico, all with that FLOR touch.

James Knappett and Sandia Chang’s two-Michelin star Kitchen Table is re-opening 20 July, and we can’t wait. This might be the best dining room in London and after their recent refurb, there’s a new lounge bar (RIP Bubbledogs) and the 18-seater dining room looks sultry and welcoming. Tasting menu is £250 and 10 courses.

In August, Dean Street will be getting Amsterdam transfer The Seafood Bar. The freshest ethical/sustainable seafood, family run, Soho vibes. IN!

Lastly, you’ve heard us mention Imad’s Syrian Kitchen before (remember? It’s the new Kingly Court restaurant from Imad, the ever-positive Syrian chef who was a successful restaurateur in Damascus, but forced to leave in search of safety), but now we’ve actually been… GO! Feather-light falafel, creamy hummus, salty halloumi noodles with watermelon (which are as good as they sound), and interesting wines.
