Bar Crispin (Spitalfields) will soon be opening on Kingly Street, with 150 natural wines, small plates, and décor designed by an antique dealer.
The Cellar is opening their second location in King’s Cross in May (their first is in the Cotswolds), and celebrates ‘producers that are expressive of their native environment and unique growing techniques’. The venue itself takes inspiration from the food markets of Bologna and Madrid, which sounds great.
At the Newcomer Wines’ cosy garden in Dalston is a residency with the SSAW Collective, whose founder is Lulu Cox, former sous at Rochelle Canteen. There will be a set menu on Thurs- Sat (book here) with organic and biodynamic wines and a weekly changing seasonal menu.
