Openings, launches and a refurb

Get your forks out

So, over in Borough, the new BaoziInn is about to open; we can’t wait to get in for dumplings. In Covent Garden, Jidori is about to re-open after a refurb; in Notting Hill, Gold just opened and we’re hearing rave reviews about the menu already from those who know; in Marylebone, The Kitchen at Holmes (seasonal, international, all day) is now taking reservations  and Chucs Café Kensington (their new casual offering) is also now serving. In Mayfair, Ramsay’s Asian Eating House Lucky Cat looks like there are tables from 25 June and Scott’s has launched the big blinging Platinum Arowana Room, a £6million eight-seater dining space (only in London), with a rare fish menu to match. The menu at Wild Honey’s new location in St. James looks worth a trip. Over in Hackney, OKN1 – a collab between students at New City College Hackney and professional chefs, is on soft launch now until 30 June with 50% off food (book here). On the brunch/lunch front, Zela (sushi) is launching brunch (23rd June) and Bombay Bustle has a new ‘Samosas, Dosas and Mimosas’ Sunday Brunch. And in vegan land, by Chloe. is expanding to Oxford Circus, and Patty & Bun have a new vegan menu.
